How Long Does It Take for Dental Implants to Fuse with Bone?
The placement of a dental implant does require some time. Getting a new smile might take a long time, from the first consultation through the surgery and recovery. However, how long do these novel repairs need to integrate with the bone?
Why Osseointegration is Important?
When dental implants are surgically placed, the jawbone and surrounding tissues join with the implants through osseointegration. Simply put, your restorations would fall out of place without this step in the implant process.
