Dr. Andrew Greenberg, a distinguished oral and maxillofacial surgeon, brings a wealth of expertise and compassion to his practice. After earning his dental degree from the NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Greenberg completed a rigorous residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Lincoln Hospital/New York Medical College. He holds certification in Dental General Anesthesia from the New York State Education Department and is an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider.
Dr. Greenberg’s professional affiliations underscore his dedication to excellence. He is a proud member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. A respected leader in his field, Dr. Greenberg has served as president of both the Peekskill/Yorktown Dental Society and the Northern Westchester Dental Study Group. He is also a Senior Attending in the Department of Surgery at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY.

Dr. Greenberg’s passion for dentistry stems from his close relationship with his grandfather, Dr. Samuel Gattegno, a pioneering dentist who practiced in the Bronx for over four decades after emigrating from Eastern Europe. Inspired by this legacy, Dr. Greenberg focuses on delivering patient-centered care with precision and empathy.
At his practice in Briarcliff Manor, Dr. Greenberg specializes in addressing complex dental and maxillofacial conditions. His expertise includes wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, biopsies of oral and jawbone lesions, surgical exposure of impacted teeth, surgical root canal procedures, and treatment of jaw fractures.
Commitment to Humanitarian Work
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Greenberg is deeply committed to humanitarian service. He has participated in multiple Humanitarian Dental Missions to Montego Bay, Jamaica, where he joins a team of general dentists and hygienists. On each trip, he performs vital oral surgery procedures for approximately 100 patients who would otherwise be unable to access care.
In addition, Dr. Greenberg has worked exclusively with the Dental Lifeline Network since 2010 and saw his first patient through the program in 2012. This national nonprofit provides donated dental services to elderly individuals, those with disabilities, and people with serious medical conditions who cannot afford treatment and often fall through the gaps in Medicare and Medicaid coverage. With tens of thousands of people on the waitlist for care, Dr. Greenberg’s continued volunteerism plays a critical role in helping underserved patients receive the essential treatments they deserve.
